Requirements.
Computer for single-user MainStay systems:- Pentium (minimum); 16 Mb RAM, VGA
Colour Monitor, 100 Mb + free disk space, backup device.
Operating System:- Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT
Computer for multi-user MainStay Systems:- The requirements depend upon your choice
of networking components - please contact us for more information.

Technical Notes.
Word-processing
MainStay produces correspondence by automated mail-merge with a word-processing
program which must be purchased separately. We currently support Microsoft Word
v6, v7 and 97. MainStay must be used in conjunction with one of these word processors
to produce letters, labels and envelopes. Internet e-mail from MainStay requires
Word 97. The ability to print labels and envelopes successfully depends on the
correct choice of word-processor and printer - we will be pleased to advise you.
Data import / export
MainStay supports ODBC and hence you can use any other ODBC compliant product
to extract data for your own purposes, e.g. Microsoft Excel, Access etc. Importing
data is also possible via this route - please ask for details.

from the date of installation.
